LiveScan Solutions has a bonded and insured Notary Publics on staff who are commissioned by the State of California to serve the needs of the community as an impartial witness. As a civil servant of the State, the notary is responsible for performing duties such as notarizing documents and administering oaths and affirmations. Documents that may be notarized include, but are not limited to:
• mechanics liens
• jurats
• quitclaim deeds
• powers of attorney
• deeds of trust
• other documents relating to immigration, insurance, mortgages, etc.
LiveScan Solutions’ Notary Publics are also certified as a Loan Document Signing Specialists. All notary and loan document signing requests are available as a mobile service.
LiveScan Solutions charges $10 per signature, per document. Loan document fees are $100 per package (first) and $50 for a second (piggy back) package. Mobile fees vary depending on distance, time of day, and weekday vs. weekend.
Typically, mobile fees run $5 for distances up to 5 miles, with an additional $5 for every 10 miles thereafter for appointments scheduled 3 pm – 5 pm, Monday thru Friday. Appointments are also available on weekends.
It is to be noted that the Notary Public is not an attorney, and thus is not qualified to answer any legal questions, provide legal advice or draw up any legal documents.
